The process involved in seeking an annulment through the Catholic Church is best explained in person. However, we do have some information packets available that give an overview of the annulment process if you wish to know more about the process prior to meeting with one of our trained procurator advocates. Your divorce must be final prior to beginning an annulment process. There are a number of documents that need to be gathered to process an annulment. The procurator advocate will go over that list with you. You may also find it helpful to go to www.cathdal.org and read about the annulment process under the Office of the Tribunal. All procurator advocates are trained by the Diocese of Dallas Tribunal and are appointed by the Bishop of Dallas. They are bound to confidentiality when working with a client. If you are interested in knowing more about what is involved in annulment process, please contact Marcela Solis, Adult and Family Ministry Director. If you wish to have a procurator advocate assigned to you that is not connected to Holy Spirit, please contact the Diocese of Dallas Tribunal.
