Holy Spirit Catholic Church is honored to have stained glass windows from an early pioneer Catholic Church providing beauty in the sanctuary. A few years ago, the Parish commissioned Stanton Glass, a leading stained glass studio in Central Texas, for the wonderful Pentecost window in the narthex.
Now, Stanton Glass has again designed a unique new creation for the Chapel Windows. The designers carefully studied our existing windows to incorporate original, antique features harmoniously with modern imagery depicting events in the life of our Lord, Jesus Christ. The six themes are:
The Presentation in the Temple of the Infant Jesus
The Baptism in the Jordan by John
Our Lord with the Children
Jesus with the Samaritan Woman at the Well
Our Lord in the Garden of Gethsemane
The Ascension of Jesus into Heaven
Thanks to the generosity of our parishioners, we have received designated donations for all six windows. The windows have been installed and were blessed by Fr. Joe during Mass on March 3, 2013. Spend some special prayer time in the chapel, and study these windows.
